The route, honestly explained

Rovinj is the postcard Istria comes on: a Venetian bell tower on a peninsula of ochre houses, dropping straight into the sea. It is about 40 minutes from Pula Airport, two hours from Trieste and three and a half from Zagreb. Buses connect Pula and Rovinj but not the airport itself, and Rovinj’s old town is pedestrian and steeply cobbled, so the practical question on arrival is always the same one — how close to the door can the car actually get.
