Privacy Policy
What personal data we collect when you book a transfer, why we hold it, who sees it and how to have it removed.
Last updated: 9 September 2026.
This policy explains what personal data Airport Transfer Croatia collects, why, and what rights you have over it. We operate in the European Union and handle personal data under the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR).
What we collect
- Booking details — your name, email address, phone number, pick-up and drop-off addresses, travel dates and times, flight number, passenger and luggage counts, and children’s ages where you ask for seats.
- Correspondence — the messages you send us by form, email or WhatsApp, and our replies.
- Payment records — the amount, date and method. Card details are handled by the payment terminal provider and are never stored by us.
- Technical data — standard web server logs (IP address, browser, pages requested) kept for security and troubleshooting.
Why we collect it
To quote for, arrange and carry out the transfer you asked for (contractual necessity); to reach you about that booking; to keep accounting records required by law; and to keep the website working and secure (legitimate interests). We do not use your data for automated decision-making or profiling.
Who sees it
Your driver receives only what is needed to complete the journey — name, phone number, pick-up and drop-off, flight number and timing. Beyond that, data is shared only with our email and hosting providers, our payment processor, and our accountant, each acting under contract. We never sell personal data or pass it to advertisers.
Where third parties are involved
If you contact us on WhatsApp, that conversation is also processed by the platform under its own terms. Address autocomplete on our booking form, where enabled, sends only what you type into the address field to the maps provider so it can suggest completions.
How long we keep it
Booking and correspondence records are kept for up to 24 months after the journey so we can answer questions about it, then deleted. Accounting records are kept for the period required by Croatian tax law. Server logs are kept for up to 90 days.
Cookies
The site uses only what it needs to function — session and security cookies, plus a local preference for whether you have dismissed a notice. We do not run advertising or cross-site tracking cookies.
Your rights
You may ask for a copy of your data, ask us to correct or delete it, object to or restrict processing, or ask for it in a portable format. Email us and we will respond within 30 days. If you are unhappy with the outcome, you can complain to the Croatian Personal Data Protection Agency (AZOP) or to the supervisory authority where you live.
