The route, honestly explained

Dubrovnik Airport is at Čilipi, roughly 20 km south-east of the city along a coast road that spends most of its length looking down on the Adriatic. The drive is 25–30 minutes. What matters more than the distance is the last hundred metres: the Old Town is entirely pedestrian, so every arrival ends with a walk through Pile or Ploče. A pre-booked driver gets you to the closest legal drop-off for your specific address and helps with the bags — which is not what happens when a shuttle empties sixty people at the bus stop above Pile.

First: if your apartment is inside the walls, send us the street name in advance — the difference between the Pile and Ploče drop-off can be fifteen minutes of walking with a suitcase. Second: the cruise ships dictate the city’s rhythm, so an early breakfast inside the walls is a different experience from an eleven-o’clock one. Your driver can tell you which ships are in on your dates.

How long is the drive from Dubrovnik Airport to the Old Town?

Can the car drive me into the Old Town?

No — it is pedestrian-only. We drop you at the nearest permitted point for your address, usually Pile or Ploče, and help carry your luggage to the gate.

Do you meet late flights?

Yes. Dubrovnik has a heavy late-evening arrival bank in summer and we meet all of it, with 60 minutes of free waiting from actual landing time.

Is the Dubrovnik to Split drive still through Bosnia?
