What we actually do

Concierge here means something narrower and more useful than the hotel-lobby version: we handle the logistics that sit around the driving. Most of it exists because Croatia runs on timetables that do not talk to each other — flights, catamarans, car ferries, national park entry slots and restaurant kitchens that close earlier than you think.

  • Ferry and catamaran planning — which sailing, from which port, and what happens to your day if the flight is late.
  • National park entry — Plitvice and Krka sell timed tickets that cap numbers; we plan the drive around the slot you hold.
  • Restaurant reservations — including the ones that only take bookings by phone, in Croatian, at awkward hours.
  • Luggage logistics — bags moved to the next hotel while you spend the day somewhere else.
  • Multi-stop itineraries — a week of coast-hopping planned so the transfers actually connect.
  • Event and group logistics — several vehicles, staggered arrivals, one point of contact.

How it is charged

For guests with transfers booked, small arrangements are made as part of the service at no extra cost. Anything with a third-party cost — a ferry ticket, a park entry, an event fee — is passed through at what it actually costs, shown separately on the quote. Larger pieces of planning are quoted as a flat fee before we start, so nothing appears afterwards.

Frequently asked questions

Do I have to book a transfer to use the concierge service?

For small arrangements, yes — it is part of looking after guests who are travelling with us. Standalone planning is possible and quoted as a flat fee.

Can you book ferry tickets for us?

We can plan the sailing and tell you exactly which ticket to buy and when it goes on sale. Where the operator allows third-party purchase, we can buy on your behalf at cost.

Can you help with restaurants in high season?

Often, particularly outside the obvious places. Give us a few days’ notice and a couple of alternatives.

Do you arrange guides?

Yes, licensed local guides in Dubrovnik, Split, Zadar and Pula, booked alongside the car.

Is there a fee for changing an arrangement?

Not from us. Third-party cancellation rules — ferries, parks, restaurants — are whatever the operator sets, and we will tell you what they are before you commit.

What Our Passengers Say

Nine journeys, nine happy passengers — from midnight landings to island ferry connections.

We landed at Split just before midnight and the driver was right there in the hall with a sign, car already cold outside. After a delayed flight and two hours on the tarmac, that calm ride into town was worth every cent.

Sarah M., London

Dubrovnik's old town is all steps and no cars, which I had not thought about. Our driver got us as close as the rules allow and carried both cases to the apartment door. Small thing, enormous difference.

Ingrid S., Oslo

Two kids, four suitcases, Split Airport to Makarska. Child seats fitted without being asked twice, cold water in the door, and the driver stopped for ten minutes when our youngest went green on the coast road.

Emma & Tom R., Dublin

Our flight into Split was an hour late and I was sure we had lost the Hvar catamaran. They had already moved us to the next sailing and the driver was waiting. Nobody panicked except me.

Marco V., Milan

Booked a full day to Plitvice from Zagreb. He dropped us at the right entrance for our ticket, waited four hours with the luggage, and had the car cool when we came out. Far better than the coach.

Anna K., Berlin

Our wedding party moved between the church and two venues near Trogir in an S-Class and a V-Class. Everything on time, everyone unwrinkled in the August heat. Flawless.

Nina & Lars H., Bergen

Dubrovnik to Split with stops at Ston for the walls and the oysters. Since the new bridge there is no border queue at all, and the driver knew exactly where to pull in. The best day of the trip.

Sophie D., Paris

I use them for every business trip to Zagreb. Same driver most visits, invoices without asking, and a fixed price that ignores the morning traffic on the airport road. Effortless.

Peter W., New York

I book them for my parents whenever they fly. The driver meets them inside the terminal, carries everything and drives gently. My mother now refuses to travel any other way.

Ivana P., Zadar
